Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this Shocker hitch shift lock gooseneck coupler. Now this lock set is going to deter depth of your trailer by preventing unwanted hookups. This is going to work exclusively with your Shocker hitch gooseneck hitches for two and five sixteenths inch balls that have a shift lock latch. Now the way that this is going to work is this base lock is going to surround the base of your gooseneck coupler and secure in place with this locking pin. So let me see if I can briefly walk through how you're going to put this to use.

So first you're going to take this insert. You'll insert this inner slide rather that you see here over the bottom of your gooseneck coupler. And then you're going to place this outer shield that you see here. And you're gonna just place that over the slide and the coupler just like that, and then I'm gonna bring this out here just a little bit. So I have clearance for my lock.

So then you'll take this puck lock here, and then you're gonna place it over these two tabs that are joined together after I slide this into place. So I'm gonna take one of the keys here and I'm gonna unlock it first. So I'm gonna insert the key all the way in turn that, and that's going to allow me to bring that pin down. Then I'm gonna slide it over those tabs and run it through those two holes there and turn the key. And then that's going to allow me to lock it in place so you can see that this is secure.

This is constructed as you can hear of heavy duty steel. And so this is going to do a great job of deterring theft and it's gonna hold up really well for you. It does have a black powder coat finish, so it's going to resist corrosion as well. And then you do have this set screw lock that's going to make sure that your coupler can't be taken apart. I do wanna point out that this will not work on the Shocker hitch couplers with a nine inch offset.

So after you have this in place, then this lock will go over over it. Let me go ahead and unlock this here real quick. Pull that up. So then this lock will go over that bolt and then you can just simply lock that into place as well, just like that. So as you can see, this is really gonna do a great job of securing your gooseneck coupler. It's gonna do a great job of deterring theft. You're gonna get several sets of keys with this as well, along with instructions to guide you through the operation and the installation process.
